Recently, I Realised

  1. It takes exactly 15 minutes to finish the daily chores like dusting, folding the dried laundry and alike if i come over my habit of procrastinating the same.
  2. If at all i bring myself to organise my messy wardrobe, it remains in that organised state of being for exactly two days.
  3. If it just the two of us eating out, we should skip the starter n side dishes part, because it becomes difficult to finish the meal.
  4. Adding to the above point, if at all we end up over ordering there is no harm in getting it packed even if the quantity is reasonably low. Thanks Pepper for this carefree attitude n reality check in this regard.
  5. And finally our appetites are no longer the same, months of trying to stick to a healthy lifestyle is proving to be worthy now.
  6. Starting a day with some exercise and meditation is actually kickstarts the day in a good way.
  7. Shopping is the only thing that makes me forget meal times and that that I was hungry just a while back.
  8. That its very difficult to stick to a monthly budget and when it’s your first month of managing budget you realise all the big expenses are lined up for the same month.
  9. Delhi people have a amazing sense of fashion and style irrespective of age and gender. And indeed the street markets here are heaven for shoppers.
  10. That people for some strange reason associate cooking experiments with being married and it irritates me to an extent.
  11. That I feel guilty if I make plans without TBH, or spend more than an hour straight without seeing him if we are under the same roof.
  12. Nearly everybody I know is unhappy with their current jobs but bounded by money.
  13. That being able to work while having control of time as well is the best combination.
  14. That the return journeys/ commutes always seem to take less time to me.
  15. That I have the ability to spend some couple of thousands and more even while taking a casual stroll in a nearby park which happens to be organising some handicraft fair.
  16. And that TBH finds me beautiful whenever I wear bindi.
  17. And my in laws are indeed amazing people.
  18. That most of our local couple friends do not make any efforts in socialising with us, despite making multiple calls to them, despite having nice time whenever we have met in past, despite hosting some wonderful get to gathers for them. May be its the happy us or our different lifestyle or some other issues or simply the distance, the business, the daily struggles that’s stops them. But for a social person like me it is quite saddening and I somehow no more enjoy hanging out with my single girlfriends as much as I enjoy outings with our couple friends. Expect a dedicated post on this very soon.
  19. There is nothing like meeting your Bachpan ki friend and seeing her happy in her marriage.
  20. That I am very little self consciuos in many regards compared to people of my age and this is a recent developement
  21. That good food comforts me like nothing else does.
  22. That swimming is actually my one of the loves, and being in water like pure bliss.
  23. I can never have enough foot wears.
  24. That I am one blessed soul
  25. I love Life and ‘my people’.

So many guys describe swimming as such bliss.. Makes me want to give it a try..

I have given up on the wardrobe bit.. I have a laundry bag in which all the dried clothes go before they get ironed

We recently started following no 3 because food here comes in large quantity. We even share a meal..

No 10 I can relate myself to this, I am still an amateur when it comes to cooking.,

    No 12 include me there.

No16 R likes to see me in Bindi too but then I like to see myself in Bindi too..

    24 and 25 it’s totally me 🙂

    • onehonestwriter April 30, 2013 at 6:25 pm Reply

Yes we too share meals most of the times.

I wont say I am a amateur but whenever I share something about my cooking on fb, some people make comments like marriage effects or alike and that just irritates me.

Really? Not liking your job? Is it? 😦

I don’t wear it very often unless I am wearing indian wear.

So we have happy people around 🙂 Great to know that 🙂

Realization is the by-product of thinking. Looks like you have been thinking a lot 🙂

Return journeys should take the same time as onward no, wonder which law they follow 🙄

Yup may be have become more thoughtful of things I undergo on regular basis…. N no returns journey d not follow any diff law, they just seem shorter to me 🙂
